While we are still able to process orders as fast as we receive them, our carriers like FedEx, UPS, and Canada Post are experiencing bottlenecks that can be minimized but not always eliminated.

What follows is the explanation provided to us by FedEx. It is similar to the responses we have received from other delivery companies.

“FedEx and TNT are playing a crucial role in keeping commerce moving and delivering critical relief during the COVID-19 crisis. We are still delivering to and within impacted areas as local conditions and restrictions allow and adhering to all regulations and guidelines from government authorities related to containment of the virus.

FedEx and TNT are also facing increased demand despite the reduced capacity available in the global market due to the flight cancellations by passenger and cargo airlines These situations result in network changes and temporary service adjustments for FedEx Express and TNT shipments as outlined below. We will continue to use our logistics network to minimize service impacts to deliver the best possible service to our customers.”

FedEx, Canada Post, and UPS have all suspended guaranteed delivery dates.

Despite these obstacles, here at Prime Wines, most orders are being delivered by the original estimated date. Occasionally, an order requires an extra day or two, but usually not more than that. You may check the status of your order at any time on our site or by contacting us directly.

Yes! You can send wine to Canada from anywhere in the world, send wine to the United States from anywhere in the world, send wine to the USA and Canada on the same order from anywhere!

Absolutely. You can add a personal gift message to each bottle, free of charge, even if several are part of the same delivery. All wines are wrapped in gift tissue or wine gift box to add that extra ‘gift’ touch. You can have us include your company letterhead or business cards for free with any order.

4-5 days is the typical delivery time. We will deliver your gift using the best possible method to ensure that delivery is attempted by or on a specific date that you request with an upgrade fee of $44. This can be FedEx, UPS, Canada Post, Private Courier; any method that we deem to be the best choice for reliable delivery. However, due to couriers restrictions, we do not guarantee Sunday deliveries.
Yes! It does not matter whether you are across the street or across the globe. $9.95 Gets any wine order delivered. It can be 1 bottle or 100 bottles!
All fees are included. No surprises, no gimmicks. Our standard delivery charge is $9.95. We charge one delivery fee per location. For example: if you are sending 5 bottles of wine to one address, we will only charge you one delivery fee.
We are the experts in sending gifts to multiple addresses. You can order on our site and select the large orange button that says “ship to multiple addresses” to input your order. You also have the option of sending us a spreadsheet and we can upload your order for you!

What is meant  “$44 Shipping Upgrade Guaranteed Specific Day”?
  • We will deliver your gift using the best possible method to ensure that delivery is attempted by or on a specific date that you request. This can be FedEx, UPS, Canada Post, private courier; any method that we we deem to be the best choice for reliable delivery.

  • If delivery of your orders is not attempted until after your request date, we will refund the entire amount paid for shipping. Refunds are limited to  $44 USD.

  • No additional credits are implied or promised.

How is it shipped?
  • Shipping and delivery is determined by legal restrictions at the delivery address

  • FedEx, UPS Canada Post and Purolator are most commonly used

  • Private couriers are also used when available and/or required by law. We must have recipient’s contact phone number.

How fast is delivery?
  • The minute you complete your order online it begins. You card is charged and we start packing.

  • 4-5 days is typical delivery time. Remote areas, out of stock wine or special requests can add an extra day or two.

  • For next-day or same-day delivery, please request a phone call at checkout. 

  • We will respond immediately and provide you with all options.

  • You always retain the option to cancel if delivery options do not suit your needs.
